The summer transfer window has got going and we're seeing records smashed.
We're seeing a number of young players go for huge fees, like Joao Felix, joined Atletico Madrid yesterday with a club record €126 million, what can not be ignored is that he only has 19-year-old; Wan-Bissaka, who joined Man United for £50million, is the most expensive defender in the history of Red Devils; Ndombele, signed for Tottenham for club-record €70million fee...
But their move wrern't enough to see them earn a place on this list as the most expensive players on their ages ever, though.
So who are the men who hold the record at each age? Find out below.
Raheem Sterling – Aged 15 (QPR to Liverpool) – £5million
Sterling proved to be a superb buy, with the forward starring for Liverpool before joining Manchester City for £49million – netting the Reds £44million profit.
Pietro Pellegri – Aged 16 (Genoa to Monaco) – £17.1million
The Italian forward signed for the Ligue 1 side in January 2018 but injuries have stopped him making a big impact, so far.
Alexandre Pato – Aged 17 (Internacional to AC Milan) – £23.2million
A series of impressive displays for the Brazilian club had caught the eye of Milan who quickly snapped up the teenager despite interest from a number of European giants.
The striker netted 63 times in 150 matches during his first spell.
Rodrygo Goes – Aged 18 (Santos to Real Madrid) – £42million
This was a transfer agreed last summer and it has finally gone through, a year after the Spanish giants broke the record for an 18-year-old when they signed Vinicius Junior.
The left winger has Eden Hazard, one of his idols, ahead of him in the pecking order, as well as Vinicius, but could still make a breakthrough this year under Zinedine Zidane.
Kylian Mbappe – Aged 19 (Monaco to Paris Saint-Germain) – £166million
Rising to prominence at the Monaco youth academy and then the first team, Mbappe quickly became one of the most sought after players in the world and made the switch to the French capital.
Ousmane Dembele – Aged 20 (Borussia Dortmund to Barcelona) – £135.5million
The talented Frenchman joined the LaLiga giants in August 2017 and is now beginning to show his class following a number of discipline issues.
Neymar – Aged 21 (Santos to Barcelona) £71.5million
The only player to appear twice on this list, the skilful attacker joined Barcelona in 2013 and formed a deadly trident with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
It had originally been thought this figure was around £40million but subsequent investigations show it was worth almost double.
Frenkie de Jong – Aged 22 (Ajax to Barcelona) – £65million
Having been linked with a move to the Premier League, it was Ernesto Valverde's side who won the race to sign the talented Dutch schemer who starred in the Champions League in 2018/19.
Paul Pogba – Aged 23 (Juventus to Manchester United) – £89million
After four years away from Old Trafford, Pogba returned in the summer of 2016 and was described by then manager Jose Mourinho as 'being the heart of the club' for the next decade.
He could be on the move this summer as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer plots an Old Trafford overhaul.
Gareth Bale – Aged 24 (Tottenham to Real Madrid) – £85.3 million
A couple of brilliant seasons in the Premier League with Spurs prompted Madrid to break the world-record at the time to bring the Welshman to the Bernabeu, and he has since gone on to win four Champions League trophies.
Neymar – Aged 25 (Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain) – £200million
The eye-watering sum is the current world transfer record and it will be a while yet before this one is smashed.
Declaring the French club as 'one of the most ambitious in Europe', Neymar initially impressed but recent issues see him linked with an exit and his reputation diminished.
Virgil van Dijk – Aged 26 (Southampton to Liverpool) – £75million
The Dutchman finally got his dream move when he sealed a transfer to Anfield on New Year's Day 2018.
His fee, a world record for a defender, eclipsed the £52million Manchester City paid for Benjamin Mendy and he helped Liverpool win the Champions League – well worth it.
Luis Suarez – Aged 27 (Liverpool to Barcelona) – £75million
On the back of a 31-goal season, the Golden Boot winner, PFA and Football Writer's Player of the Year headed to Spain to form a formidable attack under Luis Enrique.
Eden Hazard – Aged 28 (Chelsea to Real Madrid) – £88.5million
Belgian ace Hazard finally called time on his Premier League career and is now set to wow in LaLiga with his dream club.
The badge has already been kissed and no doubt goals will follow in Spain.
Diego Costa – Aged 29 (Chelsea to Atletico Madrid) – £57million
The Spanish ace's move knocked Zinedine Zidane out of this spot, but only because the deal went through in January 2018 and not when it was agreed – back in September 2017.
Costa hasn't been able to live up to the huge fee, despite previously excelling under Diego Simeone at Atleti.
Paulinho – Aged 30 (Barcelona to Guangzhou Evergrande) – £42 million
After a disappointing spell with Tottenham, the Brazil international left for the Chinese Super League where he spent two years before signing with Barcelona.
After a good season earned him a World Cup call-up, he went back to China six months later before re-signing permanently in January 2019.
Gabriel Batistuta – Aged 31 (Fiorentina to Roma) – £22million
'Batigol' was one of the world's best strikers at the turn of the Millennium and his prolific spell with Fiorentina meant he became, at the time, the most expensive player over 30. His 20 goals in the league helped Roma clinch the Scudetto in 2000/01 for the first time since 1983.
Fernando Llorente – Aged 32 (Swansea to Tottenham) – £15million
The towering Spaniard had enjoyed plenty of success with the likes of Athletic Bilbao and Juventus, but it was his relegation-saving form to keep Swansea up that earned him a move to Spurs in 2017.
He proved worth the money in 2018/19 thanks to his knack of nabbing important goals on their run to the Champions League final.
Cristiano Ronaldo – Aged 33 (Real Madrid to Juventus) – £99.2million
Not many people command a fee of this magnitude north of 30, but few, if any are like Ronaldo.
Real Madrid's record goal-scorer declared after a fifth Champions League win that he wanted a new stage in his life and opted for Italy's Serie A.
Unsurprisingly he helped Juventus to an eighth successive title in 2018/19.
Jose Fonte – Aged 34 (West Ham to Dalian Yifang) – £5million
Having struggled to hold down a first-team spot in the Hammers' starting XI, the defender opted for a move to the Chinese Super League as he entered the final years of his career.
He's now back in Europe with Lille where he continues to impress.

I am Ronaldo fan but if we think about it what Messi done in Argentina and Ronaldo in Portugal is just huge difference between them! Cr7 is man who can do everything on the pitch he game changer! Messi really talented and amazing player but not is good as cr7! In one season 5 trophy’s is just mind blowing!

what are you trying to say🤣😂 ,how many times is Ronaldo ucl top scorer?🤷🏿♂️and ask yourself why he is called king of champions league.......Ronaldo is a leader in a field of play he dictates his players and even gets angry when they are being scored that's why he always steps up leading by example not like someone who lacks leadership skills 😂.....And for the reminder that's Ronaldo's first season at juve so stop being a fool the guy just won mvp so don't be controlled by anger and your ego,or it's just that you are angry at your Goat who played poor and followed Suarez to Barca without a trophy [Crylaugh][Crylaugh] poor guy

if Ronaldo was in Paris, they will let him go Free....it Not Ronaldo who put the Price tack it RM......If it's not Juventus No want will buy Ronaldo...Only Man utd want him ,but due to the fact that Man utd has been been good this last 4 ,5 season and he didn't want to join Man utd...Mark my word,If Man utd was as Good as they use to be he probably will return...When people think that he want challenge?.. He should have save UTD ...If he do that then i would say that he the GOAT..but fail and fail again to impact to win the UEFA for Juventus...
