Incoming Juventus signing Cristiano Ronaldo may be 33 years old, but the reigning Ballon d’Or remains one of the best players in world football.

The Portuguese superstar joins the Bianconeri fresh off a third Champions League win in a row, the fifth in his career.

Below are just some of the statistics which convinced the Old Lady to part with a reported €105m.

In total, Cristiano Ronaldo has played 915 games in his career. In that time, he’s scored 658 goals and provided 208 assists.

Since joining Real Madrid in 2009, Ronaldo has scored more goals than he’s played games - his Madrid career ends with 438 appearances and 450 goals.

For six consecutive seasons between 2010-11 and 2015-16, CR7 scored over 50 goals. In 2014-15 he managed an incredible 61 goals in 54 games.

The Portuguese was also a key man for Manchester United, helping them win the Premier League for three seasons in a row between 2006-07 and 2007-08.

While his goalscoring record for United isn’t quite as impressive as for Madrid, Ronaldo managed 118 goals in 292 games.

No player has scored more Champions League goals than Cristiano Ronaldo, who has 120. He’s been top-scorer or joint top-scorer in each of the past six seasons.

Ronaldo managed that feat in just 153 games, but even more remarkably he failed to score in his first 29 Champions League games. That means since first finding the back of the net he has 120 goals in 121 games.

Juventus will be glad to have Ronaldo on their side for once - his 10 goals against the Bianconeri is more than anyone has scored against any single opponent.

CR7 is level with former Juventino Michel Platini for goals scored at the European Championships on 9. He won the competition with Portugal in 2016.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the only player to score in three Champions League finals.

No-one has scored more La Liga hat-tricks than Ronaldo’s 34, and only Lionel Messi can match his record of eight in a season.
