UEFA Nations League officially reveal their Team of the Tournament, Ronaldo and Bernardo Silva lead the squad, Van dijk not included.
The XI was dominated by winners Portugal and runners-up Netherlands with Gareth Southgate’s side securing third place ahead of Switzerland.
Ronaldo scored a hat-trick in the semi-final against Switzerland to partner Depay who offered two assists in the semis in the attack.
To our surprise, Van Dijk is not in the XI, he has not been dribbled past during this Tournament, as well as the whole season.

He had a great season guys and it was a great thing leading Liverpool to the champions league triumph but he wasn't the best player last season... Messi outplayed everyone by a reasonable distance...

yes its true , he is a defender who does not commit until no option , De Ligt was the one making challenges and interceptions . So yeah Van Dijk also needs a good defensive system to work properly , like in Liverpool he has Robertson TAA Fabinho Henderson making challenges for him so he sits back for any danger behind . Im a Liverpool fan but Messi deserves Ballon D'or because he single handedly changes gamea.

Haters will always hate. Last time it was Salah always wait for mane to do the dribbling n He scored empty net.... But at last, Salah had more assist . Now Van Dijk just run n send his mate but at last he will still dominate n perform better. Only objective fans can relate, no way a leader will be the destroyer but rather he will be the controller n make up man. Van Dijk reads game and understands the way game goes make him very technical. if it was one of Madrid of Barca player, Every one will praise n say great things but the truth is he's the missing jigsaw in everyone's team currently. No team has that commander n game reader better than van Dijk.... One yellow card in 38 games, As defender, it's insane... Watch out for more hates vigil but we can change the reality you're the best n no one in the defensive side is technically better at the moment.

honestly am a little bit concerned with van Dijk omittance he was Netherland defensive rock obviously without him they would not have made it to the finals ...well he deserves to be the defender of the tournament even the fact that he hasn't got dribbled didn't really have much influence in he's statistics....

Once it's not Barca players their fans like you say overrated Salah still played better then all Barca players this season except Messi. How can you compare. If Vigil is doing his job, He shouldn't be praised ? Messi and Ronaldo today were praised n even compared to greats before winning Ballon D'Or why you guys think the opposite n feel jealous ? The reality is Messi n Ronaldo are great but other players are making it n they need to be praised n compared. If you watch football you won't n never say VAN DIJK is overrated cuz he's made all necessary difference since his move to Liverpool.

Why is everyone getting high on some useless nations league, it’s not counted as a major trophy....and Salah was highest goal scorer this season as well so I don’t see your point...I think you should try solving all the problems in your Barcelona and leave our players alone...thank you 👍
