Cristiano Ronaldo has no plans to retire anytime soon and insists claims suggesting he is about to call time on his established career are 'not true' after he produced another goalscoring performance in Saudi Arabia.
The 38-year-old continues to defy critics and helped himself to two goals in Al-Nassr's 4-3 victory over Al-Ahli on Friday evening with the first of his strikes seeing him score through a plume of smoke.
Ronaldo was full of optimism on the day celebrating Saudi Arabian culture and in true fashion stated he won't stop playing until his body tells him he needs to.
The Portuguese superstar maintains a strict diet and sleep pattern to keep himself in peak physical condition and defiantly rejected any notion of retirement after Al-Nassr's recent victory.
'They say Ronaldo is done… but it's not true,' said Ronaldo.
'I will continue to play until my legs say: Cristiano, I'm done'. I still have a lot. I still love football and scoring goals.
'I still love winning. They say I'm done but I'm still proving that it's not true,' he added.
Ronaldo has overseen outstanding longevity during his career and is still regarded as one of the world's best players despite edging nearer towards 40-years-old.
Tremendous success during spells at Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus followed before he decided to move to Saudi Arabia following an unsuccessful second stint at the Red Devils.
His arrival in the Middle East last December ignited a huge following of European stars with the nation splurging £784.2million on summer transfers.
Former Liverpool stars Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Jordan Henderson decided to follow Ronaldo to the Kingdom while former Real Madrid team-mate Karim Benzema also made the switch.
Ronaldo recently set the record for 1000 career games unbeaten as Al-Nassr secured victory in their recent AFC Champions League clash against Persepolis.
He has also continued to star for the Portugal national team and is targeting a place in their squad at next year's European Championship.

comparing to those days stats i think its less..Because now a days ronaldo mostly depends in his teammates to do all the works,he only stand there for his mates to pass the ball or to assists him..Those he was a machine he can run, create, score goals by his own, breaking defence one on one for him is like a piece of cake but now hardly dribble, creates, assists etc. But his rival Messi, he runs,he control games and possessions, he creates, assists, he can dribble past anyone one on one, break defence through balls, long or short ball especially counter attack long diagonal ball mostly leads to goals..Last but not the least last world cup performance was undeniable, he was one man army, ge scored,he assists throughout the tournament. Especially Quater final, semi and final was the Messi matches, he was unstoppable in those games..He deserved to lift the world cup Qatar.
