Cristiano Ronaldo sends his wish message via Instagram to his former teammate Asensio.
Ronaldo writes: "Stay strong my friend. Get well soon."
Being announced in Real Madrid's statement, Asensio has been diagnosed with a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and the external meniscus of his left knee affter the tests performed on him by the Real Madrid Medical Services.
The 23-year-old was taken to hospital for a checkup after being stretchered off the field during the pre-season clash in Maryland on Wednesday.
Real Madrid hasn't revealed how long Asensio will miss after suffering an injury so hard, but according to multiple sources, the Madrid star could out of the WHOLE season.
