Cristiano Ronaldo did not take Al Nassr's latest defeat too well, as the global superstar shoved a fan's scarf down his pants before throwing it back into the crowd in anger.
The odd exchange came after Ronaldo's side were on the wrong end of a 2-0 scoreline against Al-Hilal in the final of the Riyadh Season Cup. Any silverware is good silverware, but the competition is actually deemed a mid-season friendly tournament.
That's not to say it doesn't carry weight or prestige out in Saudi Arabia. The league certainly did all they could to build the excitement before kick-off, with WWE sensation The Undertaker emerging on to the pitch to present the trophy to those inside the Kingdom Arena while the players geared up for the first whistle.
Once the pre-match theatrics were out of the way, Al-Nassr played out a disappointing 2-0 defeat that saw first-half goals from Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Salem Aldawsari ensure this was one trophy Ronaldo would not be lifting.
As the game wore on and it was apparent Al-Hilal would get the better of Ronaldo and Al-Nassr, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner became more and more frustrated. He was seen regularly bemoaning the officiating, but it was perhaps the chants from rival fans that got under his skin the most.
Chants of "Messi, Messi, Messi!" could be heard towards the back end of the game, of course in reference to Ronaldo's long-term Ballon d'Or rival. From that point onwards, the 39-year-old wore a face like thunder and made no attempt to hide the fact he was annoyed.
As Al-Hilal gave the runners up a guard of honour, a tournament official appeared to get in the way of Ronaldo. He waved his hands in frustration and was evidently annoyed that the staff member walked in his path while the ex-Real Madrid man was trying to lead his team through.
Remarkably, more was on the way from Ronaldo. Soon after the guard of honour, he then opted to take his anger out on the crowd. While on his way to the tunnel, the former Manchester United star was inundated with scarves being thrown from the stands.
After being hit in the head with one, Ronaldo's frustration looked to have reached boiling point. He picked up the scarf, placed it on his crotch before tossing it back into the direction it came.
Given the scarf was clearly the traditional blue and white colours of Al-Hilal, many have argued Ronaldo was incredibly disrespectful to treat it with such disregard. It remains to be seen whether those at the top of the Saudi Pro League hierarchy choose to punish their division's biggest star.

Angry in friendly match, I just wonder how he would have been behaving now if he was the one that won the World Cup, the pride would have been something else, he would have been strolling Messi face to face without respect, Thank God the cup went the other way because humility is life

Ronaldo I always know is a good footballer but a bad human. So bad, very childish, seeks attention, has so much ego, very annoying, attracts humiliation and more. No wonder fans just knows how to get to him, he cannot stand the mention of messi or him losing. Just the exact opposite of Messi You should know why Messi along with more reasons is the better and the very best in the History Ronaldo doesn't and can never come close.

All the Ronaldo fans laughing at Messi for not scoring in a friendly, well looks like he failed too 🤣🤣. One thing is certain Messi wouldn't ever go on like this or act this way over a friendly.

pomposity, Arrogancy, & Selfishness is what Ronaldo is known for. while the super G.O.A.T Leonel Andrea Messi is known for respectfulness, humbleness, & peaceful character . Ride on world cup winner.

Low mentality, no winning mentality but cr5 only has goal scoring mentality but less strong mentality, weak personality. Messi lost 5 major finals including world cup final but he never misbehave, because Messi has more stronger personality and stronger mentality than cr5 who cry over losing friendly. Low mentality, he cannot stand Messi success. Messi has lost and also won the world cup and yet he remains humble. Imagine, cr5 manage to reach world cup final and then lose? Imagine cr5 win the world cup? Imagine cr5 is the guy with 6 golden shoes? Imagine cr5 is the guy with 8 Balloondor? Imagine cr5 is the one who won last world cup and Messi never reach semi in his career? Cr5 is not angry because his team lost, no cr5 is only angry because he did not score! Even if his team won and cr5 did not score he would still be sad. Cr5 and his fans prefer cr5 to score hatrick and his team loses than his team winning and he does not score. Cr5 play for himself and less for his team but Messi play for his team, that was the reason Madrid, Juventus, Utd got rid of him. If Messi is as selfish and desperate for goals like cr5, Messi would have over 1500 goals now but if cr5 play like Messi, cr5 would have less than 300 tap in.

To be honest, the ref disallowed numerous fouls committed against us. We could had so many free kicks and penalties if given, CR7 is the GOAT 🐐🇵🇹
Give Penaldo his pens. Don't give him free kicks though, he will hit the wall or a child
