Roncero: Budimir fell down without physical contact, and Barca knew this well

In the 25th round of La Liga, Real Madrid lost to Osasuna 1-2 away from home. Roncero, the deputy editor of Diario AS, wrote that the clear shots mastered by the club showed that Courtois touched the ball first and stepped on the turf. Budimir then made slight contact with him and fell to the ground exaggeratedly.

Roncero also satirized Barcelona, saying "a crying child gets milk", and said bluntly: "We don't have a Negreira case in our backpack."

The following are Roncero's views

As we all know, refereeing issues are occupying the "air bridge" of public opinion at an alarming frequency. Therefore, within Real Madrid, in addition to being dissatisfied with the team's poor performance in Pamplona, the VAR's handling of Budimir's penalty, which ultimately led to Osasuna's leading goal, is also quite frustrating.

Real Madrid has obtained multiple angle shots of the contact between Courtois and Budimir, which are much clearer than those that Figueroa-Vázquez in the VAR room chose to provide to the chief referee Alejandro Quintero. In these unreleased pictures, it can be seen that Courtois touched the ball first and stepped on the turf, and then almost simultaneously the Croatian (Budimir)'s boot made slight contact with the Belgian (Courtois)'s foot. After that, Budimir fell forward and exaggerated the falling action, wrongly grabbing his shin as if it had been kicked hard. Quintero had already correctly identified this and showed him a yellow card for diving. But VAR forced him to change the penalty.

Against everything and everyone

Real Madrid pointed out: "When Laporta said "against everything and everyone" after Barcelona's recent defeats, and they also publicly released a formal complaint against the referees, we knew what awaited us. They got what they wanted."

The time-tested motto of Spanish football for decades has been fulfilled again: "A crying child gets milk." Insiders in Valdebebas (Real Madrid Sports City) asserted with undisguised anger: "Let no one forget that we don't have a Negreira case in our backpack. It's utterly shameless for Barcelona to complain about the referees."
