Manchester United have a lot of work to do when it comes to transfers this summer with a major decision set to be made over the future of Red Devils captain Bruno Fernandes
Manchester United face arguably the biggest summer in their history over the coming months. The Red Devils are in dire need of reinforcements after a miserable Premier League campaign.
But it could end up being a very tricky window given United’s difficult financial situation. Things might have been better had they won the Europa League against Tottenham - and thus sealed a spot in the Champions League.
Their defeat in Bilbao might force chiefs to look elsewhere for recruits, with funds set to be stretched. It might even force the club to cash in on some of their star players - with Bruno Fernandes among those to be at the heart of speculation.
With that being said, take a look at all of the latest transfer news and rumours from Old Trafford over the past 24 hours:
Ruben Amorim has remained tight-lipped on Bruno Fernandes’ future amid links with clubs in Saudi Arabia. Speaking ahead of this weekend’s finale against Aston Villa, he said: “The focus now is the last game.
"I don’t know what is going to happen. We have a plan, we were prepared for both situations – with Champions League and without Champions League.
“We have an idea of the type of squad we want but now we focus on the game because we still have the last game, and we have time to address all these situations.”

While United want Fernandes to stay at Old Trafford, club chiefs already appear to have set prices for a number of their wantaway stars including Alejandro Garnacho. According to the Daily Mail, the club want to receive around £60-70m for the Argentine forward.
They also want to bank around £40m for academy graduate Marcus Rashford. United could also lose millions on a number of flops should they leave the club over the coming months.
Rasmus Hojlund has a price tag of around £25-30m - a huge decrease on the £72m they signed him for. Meanwhile, United intend to receive around £25m for Brazilian wideman Antony.
On the topic of Rashford, Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has not attempted to hide his admiration of the England man. As quoted by The Athletic, he said: "Normally I don't want to speak about players that are not in my team, but of course both of them are fantastic players. I like them and we will see what happens -- but of course they are fantastic players."
Barcelona have been linked with Rashford in the past, while he looks unlikely to have a future at Old Trafford. The striker has been with Aston Villa since joining the Midlands side on loan in January.

United should not try to keep Bruno, he's good but not good enough, the guy can't withstand pressure and change the game, united need a calm playmaker that can read the game and come up with a changing tactical approach but not Bruno. He only plays well when the team is winning.
Bruno is not a number 10 I've been telling everyone this is he is the perfect number 8 u will see when he is in a different side watch n see mark my words u heard it from me first #1churchcorner

Not true, if we are going off this season, then bruno by far is the only player who's turned up this season. In the Europa league final it felt like bruno had to do everything cause the rest of the squad can't run, shoot, pass or cross. Hardest working most passionate. But cause he moans he's considered a bad player, nonsense if anyone hard working got put into are current united squad they be moaning all the time obviously, I'd be annoyed if it was just me trying for the full 90 while the rest the team plays for the money and does nothing. Then if you go off stats this season by far bruno is the best player we have at United. Sad to think we'd be relegated if we didn't have him.
And what you are saying is true but, the guy loses it when he sees he's the only one working hard, that's why i said he can't withstand the pressure.

The Manchester City staff recruited by Manchester United in various capacities could not do so much to assist the Red devils in their free fall.

Once upon a time, Manchester United wanted to get rid of Harry Maguire, but not anymore. Harry Maguire is a captain in-waiting. Flog Bruno Fernandez and invest with cash from the deal.

Bruno Fernandes is not the only player in fact he really tries to put everything on his shoulder unfortunately many people can't see that. It's like chewing a sound groundnut among rotten ones the guy is gonna die inside the black soot.
Well get the people that don't see that to look at the guys stats and work rate in games then you'd see bruno by far is the best and only good player we have in the squad. 💯

Bruno is 30. plse sell and invest in the future. we have mainoo and mount. just sell and bring delap oshimen or gyokeres. any way u don't like Bruno he is such an disorderly player. now you will regret selling Mc Tominay. Just invest in young players and in the academy or just close the academy to cut cost. that's it
Without bruno we would have gotten relegated, if we are going off this season bruno is the only player good enough for united, also the only player that should be kept, the rest of the squad should be sold. Mount is muck didn't do anything all season, bar scoring two goals in Europa league, nd it's funny soon he scores them two goals he's BACK AT HIS BEST then does nothing in the final, should have started garnacho over him that lil change would have won us the Europa league. Mount should be sold.
