Ruben Amorim admits that Alejandro Garnacho could still leave Manchester United despite returning to the fold on Thursday night.
The Argentine started for the Red Devils as they saw off Rangers in the Europa League despite mounting speculation that his days at Old Trafford are numbered. The Premier League side are listening to offers for their entire squad as they look to balance the books.
Garnacho is a player they can command a hefty fee for and he'd result in a huge profit. As a result he's been linked with Chelsea and Napoli as his agent discusses possible exit routes.
Amorim named the winger in his team but maintained it was not a sign of a long-term future in Manchester. Whilst praising his performance the new United boss claimed the coming days would be telling as clubs race against the clock to complete their business.
He said when quizzed on Garnacho's future: "I am focused on the games and he is here, he is here playing for Manchester United. He was really important for us today so let's see in the next days."
Garnacho was dropped last month before the Manchester derby win, but has since returned to the fold. Amorim's 3-4-3 system has forced the Argentine to change his position and he's had to quickly adapt with the Portuguese coach admitting he's making impressive strides.
He said: "I think he is improving in every aspect in the game. He was better today playing inside, also outside and changing positions. He is improving the recovering position and until 90 minutes he is always there and helping. Sometimes he shows some frustrations because he wants more.
"I think he has potential to be so much better and in these situations of the game. But what I can say is he understood what I am trying to do and I just want to be clear, I am trying to help them. In the end it is them that do the job."
United have not been shy in confessing their financial situation. Marcus Rashford is another major name the club are considering offloading and have told fans they must "act now" if they are to avoid breaching spending rules. "If we do not act now, we are in danger of falling to comply with PSR/FFP requirements," the club said in the letter.

Don’t let Garnacho to leave the club, you already lose Greenwood and look how’s playing now 🔥🔥🔥 Don’t let young players to go to another team, while there’s possibility for them to improve, get players that’s known English premier league.

Don't sale, Ganacho isn't for sale. You have plenty of rotten players in the squad instead of selling them on cheap as possible as you can, here is you trying to chase the talented Ganacho all because of your selfish ambitions to just get a profit.
They're saling him to balance book cos ffp. those your rotten players no club will buy them because of wages. it's happened to Chelsea, Sterling and lukaku are on loan but Chelsea is still paying part of thier wages

I am afraid man united is selling their young players for profit

For me, this is a big mistake for Manchester United if they sell the best players. If this happens, it is possible that Manchester United will never again experience the championship of EPL or UCL. If I am better, just fire Amorim and find a manager who has the soul of a champion. It is not what Amorim said. a lot but the results are empty. Amorim should be a drink delivery person only for the players.

I don't see the reason why Garnacho should be sold at this time

Amorim is the stupidest manager I have ever seen in the Manchester United era. Why is Manchester United so reluctant to hire Amorim as the manager of the club, because Jim Ratcliffe doesn't know anything about football.

The coach isn't selling anyone. He's not the one meeting with clubs to arrange sales. The man is trying to work with what he has and ManU's plastic fans are being as impatient as ever. Let him get who he wants and then see what he does. Chill out people.
