On February 5 local time, SPORT stated that the club is ready to sell any player when a suitable offer is received; the only ones safe are Mbappé and Courtois.

President Florentino Pérez is dissatisfied with the players' performance and clearly stated that no player's future is guaranteed; everyone must prove their worth. Alaba, Carvajal, Rudiger, and others have contracts that are about to expire, while the futures of Vinicius Junior, Ceballos, and other players are also uncertain. The futures of Militão, Rodrygo, and others depend on their performance; if key players like Bellingham continue to perform inconsistently, they may face transfers. The club plans to carry out a large-scale clearout to correct the team's deviation from its direction in recent years.

Many fans have begun to doubt the abilities of certain players, believing they are not worthy of wearing the Real Madrid jersey. It is widely believed that this team lacks competitiveness, which is unacceptable for a once-glorious team that has always held fighting spirit as its banner. After all, Real Madrid has a strong winning culture and a never-give-up spirit, yet its current performance is disappointing.

Club president Florentino Pérez publicly issued a warning, clearly stating that no player's future is guaranteed. Regardless of whether their contracts have expired or not, players need to prove they deserve to stay at this top club; otherwise, the club will start listening to offers for all players, with the only exceptions being Mbappé and Courtois. The Belgian goalkeeper supports the team with key saves and the French forward with goals; however, the performances of other starting players are generally inconsistent. The biggest characteristic of the team's overall performance is instability and lack of consistency, failing to show the expected level at critical moments.

With four months left in the season, the president is dissatisfied with the performance of players who have always been protected by him in the past. But everything has a bottom line, especially after he endured the pressure of replacing Xabi Alonso. Florentino Pérez maintains close contact with Arbeloa, who regularly reports to him on the players' performances and statuses.

Alaba, Carvajal, and Rudiger have contracts that are about to expire; these three players have been plagued by injuries for a long time, which makes their contract renewals more complicated. Vinicius Junior, Ceballos, Fran García, and Brahim Díaz also have contracts expiring in 2027; although there are renewal negotiations, their futures are still uncertain. Vinicius Junior has received a renewal offer; if he does not accept it, he may transfer to Saudi Arabia. Ceballos and Fran García have a high chance of leaving, and Brahim Díaz's renewal prospects are also unclear.

Militão, Rodrygo, Tchouameni, and Mendy have contracts until 2028; except for Tchouameni, the futures of other players depend on their performance, especially Mendy, whose future seems not very optimistic. Bellingham, Camavinga, Valverde, and Güler have contracts until 2029; the club will make decisions based on their performance. If these players continue to perform inconsistently, some surprising transfers may occur.

Other players have contracts until 2030 or longer, but no one can be sure of staying with the team. The club has clearly stated that if players do not show the expected level, it will carry out a large-scale clearout to correct the team's deviation from its direction over the past two years. The problem is clearly not with the coaching staff, but with the players' performance.
