Mohamed Salah broke a Liverpool club record as the Reds scored four goals in the first 13 minutes against Sparta Prague on Thursday night.

Despite winning the Europa League Last-16 first leg 5-1 in Czechia, Jurgen Klopp started a strong side at Anfield to keep up the team's momentum ahead of an important domestic run.

Darwin Nunez, Bobby Clark, Salah and Cody Gakpo all scored within seven minutes of each other to give the Reds a 4-0 cushion on the night, and a 9-1 advantage on aggregate.

Salah returned to the Liverpool starting line-up following an injury picked up with Egypt at the African Cup of Nations - and his goal was all the more poignant for what it represents to his history at Anfield.

The Egyptian became the first player to score 20 or mroe goals in all competitions in seven successive seasons for Liverpool.
