Mohamed Salah has once again been criticised by his Muslim followers after posting a picture of him and his family in front of a Christmas tree.
The Liverpool star, who is a Muslim, captioned the photo with '#MerryChristmas'.
As has become the tradition for him, his wife Magi, and daughters Makka and Kayan posed in matching pyjamas for his Christmas post, smiling in front of their tree and a gingerbread person.
Muslims do not traditionally celebrate Christmas but some do partake in the festivities that take place during the Christian holiday.
'You let me down bro,' wrote one user on Instagram, where Salah shared the post to his 63.7million followers.
'Delete this right now,' posted another, while a third wrote: 'At this point am just disappointed in you bro.'
Another said: 'We Muslim people look up to you and you do this in return,' accompanied by three crying emojis.
Other leapt to the defence of Salah, with one fan writing: 'Merry Christmas Mo. Ignore all these idiots. Hope you and your family have a well deserved holiday season.'
Another posted: 'In what has become an annual tradition on Christmas Day, I read and enjoy the comments on post for an hour. Never disappoints.'
Salah has been in scintillating form this season, netting 15 goals and picking up 11 assists so far this term, meaning he leads the race for the golden boot.
After shining against Tottenham in Liverpool's last game, he became the first-ever Premier League player to register 10 goals and assists before Christmas.
He is set to line up against Leicester on Boxing Day for the Reds, but that didn't stop fans criticising him under his post.
One posted: 'With all the warning you still go ahead and posted this shame pose of yours. May Allah guard you to the ryt part. For now on, I shall be unfollow you from all platform and also block you. You are disgraceful. I also stop to watch Liverpool match forever.'
Another wrote: 'Mark my words you won't score any goal till end of the season, for disrespecting our beloved prophet SAW and the entire Muslim community.'

i think Mo is actually trying to Unite Religion which is one of the world's major problems against the human race. if we can unite and live as one family regardless of how you workshop the World will be peaceful and we will progress speedily. i wish him all the best.

people go hungry but should be thankful we live despite sinning against God do you ignore this sinning against God can bring poverty to us and others who are innocent we should condemn evil
even the most athiest nations of the world tops the list of world strongest economy. part of the reason why Africa is poor is that we blame God for our misfortunes, we are told in mosque and churches that your poverty could be as a result of broken relationship with your creator ( punishment our sin) instead of holding ourselves/leaders accountable for bad governance and poor economy policies/planning.
