According to journalist Ryan Taylor, sources close to the French Football Federation indicate that Arsenal defender Saliba will not be called up to Zidane's latest France squad and will therefore miss the upcoming Nations League matches against Italy and Turkey.
The French Football Federation has not yet officially announced its squad, so Saliba's omission remains to be confirmed.
If Saliba is ultimately left out, it would be a significant boost for Arsenal. The club has recently been carefully managing his return to full fitness, hoping he can gradually regain his peak level.

He has just came back from long lay off and hasn't played a single minute for his club this season. On what merit or ground would Zizou call him?

He hasn’t played since the World Cup semis, so he’s got to be integrated gradually into the Arsenal games.
