Christian Pulisic netted his first Chelsea goals and Pedro scored a superb backheel volley as the Blues claimed a 5-3 pre-season win at RB Salzburg.

Pulisic produced two neat finishes in the first half, either side of winning a penalty, scored by Ross Barkley.
Jerome Onguene pulled one back just after the break, before Pedro's ingenious backheel finish.
Michy Batshuayi struck the Blues' fifth, sandwiched between two Takumi Minamino goals for Salzburg.
Frank Lampard's side have now won their last three pre-season games, following victories at Spanish champions Barcelona and Championship team Reading.

Let's not look at the negatives and consider the positive. Last season we lacked clinical finishing. We just had 8 out of 9 shots on targets converting 5 of them. Also defence will be fixed when the main pairing of Zouma and Luiz play more. People need to relax we won the game convincingly, not by sheer luck. Chelsea looks even more threatening now than we did last season.... Pulisic is looking like he is the real deal and with Odoi, RLC, Reece James and Ngolo Kante coming into the side just imagine the potential of this team. We will make top 4 this year, I'm optimistic and if we dont, it was never a expectation. Chelsea is a dark horse this season, and Chelsea is best when expectations are low for us... I said this last year too when they all said Chelsea will fail, I said that Chelsea is the type of team to make something out of nothing and we won Europa and got top 4. 4th place next year is ours.....

Honestly, Chelsea looks great going forward but is so weak at the back. Salzburg had over 20 shots on goal today and that's unacceptable knowing the amount of matches we played in pre-season to work on the defence line. Lampard needs to sort the defence out and we'll be great. pulisic starts to enjoy himself and Barkley is on fire.. COYB

FIFA is not fair ,they lied to us that chelsea is banned for a season no signing ,but kovacic was signed in this time of ban and now Chelsea is looking in new shape with two new signing (PULSIC and KOVACIC).what a performance of new Chelsea signing.
