Alexis Sánchez is expected to fly to Italy today for a medical after Manchester United agreed to loan the misfiring forward to Inter Milan for the rest of the season.
The Times understands that Inter have agreed to pay the majority of his £391,000-a-week wage during the ten-month loan deal, which was agreed last night after lengthy talks between the two clubs.
It is understood that United will pay about £6 million of Sánchez’s wages during the loan spell, with Inter footing the remaining £9.64 million.
Inter do not have the option to buy the Chile forward as part of the deal.
Sánchez, 30, agreed to a move after United made it clear to him that he would play only in the Europa League and Carabao Cup competitions.
Antonio Conte, the Inter manager, made it clear this month that he wanted to sign Sánchez and pair him up front in a 3-5-2 formation with Romelu Lukaku, who joined the Italian club from United for £74 million three weeks ago.

Dear Inter Please, we don't want to see any sort of musical instrument in the Sanchez Introductory Video, especially A piano. We want a star player that played for Arsenal not the choir Master in Man U. Regards, Inter Fans

In my dialect Ole means thief! I noticed that some Fans are supporting Ole's idea selling players without replacement? If as a coach, you can't manage big name players, is that not a problem? How do we expect on earth that those kids should deliver? How many players have City sold this summer? City have first eleven and outstanding reserve. United don't have first eleven let alone reserve! What is wrong with this baby coach thief? We just started epl and a lot of them started having injury! It's better I join Liverpool on time to save my head from heart attack this season! Crazy Woodward, crazy Ole.

I have noticed people saying that letting Sanchez go will be a mistake, he will score a lot of goals etc etc. Guys, even if he score 100+ goals at Inter, even if he becomes a combination of Messi and Cristiano there- it matters very little. Alexis Sanchez represents a much bigger problem at Man Utd- it's not just about scoring goals. If you consider all the things Moyes, LVG, Mourinho and OLS done while managing Man Utd, you will find nothing nearly as detrimental as signing Sanches was. Mourinho managed to leave an irrecoverable damage with this one signing. With this, he completely destroyed the reasonable salary structure of the squad, ensured a huge waste of club money, caused dissatisfaction and lack of commitment in players, made new transfers extremely challenging as everyone seems to ask for a huge (and totally unjustified) salary, and disrupted squad harmony on & off the field. Worst of all- this signing was absolutely unnecessary. It would be better to sell him than sending him on loan. However, the damage he has done can not be reversed with his transfer or loan. Getting him out of the squad can spare us from some future damages though. I hope all those Sanchez-sympath Man Utd supporters can see the whole picture.

I hope Ole knows what he is doing right now..We lost Herrera and lukaku without replacement and now it's Sanchez...Ole should know his job is at risk..Atleast he should bring players like chong, gomes into the team do we know that we are giving our youngsters a chance now..If not then i don't know what ole is doing be selling players without any replacement

Ole will be next to exit the club. he is so confused. letting off players without replacements its never a good idea. relying on young half baked players alone will take u nowhere, even the legendary Sir Alex F. knows this. u will get what u deserve soon!

Exciting decision by Ole,Yes we are well short of bodies but if he promote Chong and Gomes Man Utd fans would be patient with him even if we finish outside Top6 Let's be honest Sanchez scored something like 2 last season and assisted 4 times.I don't see Gomes doing much worse than him. It's last opportunity to get rid of him now.We might not get another opportunity.

Inter are still getting scammed. Should pay no more than 50% of his ridiculous wages. 60% of 350k a week is still 210k a week for a finished player who is 30+ and not any better than Candreva. Hazard earned 200k a week at Chelsea in the prime of his career 😂🤦🏽♂️

If I remember correctly Sanchez scored 2 and assisted 4 goals last season.I think Chong and Gomes would do a lot more than that. Even if we play Young on the wing he would score more and will provide more assists. Young scored 2 and assisted 3 last season.I don't see any point of keeping Sanchez

Sanchez last season Goals :2 Assists:4 I think even Chong or Gomes could contribute more .Also he is 30 and will never be the same player again. It might be now or never.
