Jadon Sancho is reportedly willing to return to Manchester United but only under one condition.
Sancho rejoined Borussia Dortmund on loan in January after his time at United grew sour, falling out of favour with manager Erik ten Hag after complaining publicly about being left out the side back in August.
Sancho has since found form again and impressed on his side's journey to Saturday's Champions League final, where they came up short against Real Madrid.
There remains uncertainty over where Sancho will be playing next season, especially with Dortmund thought to be interested in signing him permanently.
United may price Dortmund out of a transfer and The Mirror claim Sancho still has hopes of making it at Old Trafford.
However, the player recognises that this will not be possible under Ten Hag and therefore his future at the club depends on whether the manager stays.
Ten Hag's future is equally uncertain with reports emerging before the FA Cup final that he was going to be sacked regardless of the result.
United went on to beat Man City 2-1 and that victory may have bought the Dutchman more time.
Sancho signed for United from Dortmund in 2021 for a fee of £73million.
The winger has made 82 appearances for United and scored 12 goals, while he has provided six assists.
Sancho refused to apologise to Ten Hag after accusing the United boss of making him a 'scapegoat' for the club's disappointing results.
Speaking in January, Ten Hag stated that United had issues 'all the way through' with Sancho.
Ten Hag told Sky Sports: 'He's now at Dortmund. So after he was signed, one year before [I was here], and there were issues. We have had issues all the way through, and so you can make out his stay at Manchester United so far is not a success.
'So now he is going back to Borussia Dortmund, so I wish him the best of luck. I hope, we all hope he is doing well there, he will be successful. Again, we will see what is going to happen.'
When asked whether things might be different had the player apologised, Ten Hag added: 'We have said that before. And I don't want every time to return to the point. He knows what he should do and we have made that clear.'
Ten Hag stated that Sancho's absence from the matchday squad against Arsenal in September was due to his performances in training.
Sancho subsequently issued an angry response on social media, writing: ‘I have conducted myself in training very well this week’ and ‘I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!’

ETH stays, and Sancho can go anywhere he likes MU cannot continue to entertain spoiled brats who pollute the team environment with their headlines. Top players with decorated careers were not bigger than the team, an average player like Sancho who has no achievement in football yet will not dictate to the team

You know your own truth, and only you can put a value on it never let anybody diminish you or speak untruths about you ,if you know different. Forget about money and all the idiots that are telling you to apologise your principles and your word are worth more money than you could ever earn. These are the things that make you a man with integrity so stick to your guns young fellow and if the manager doesn’t appreciate you at that club, there are several other clubs who are actually good clubs not just a big name and no togetherness who would appreciate your talents instead of throwing you under the bus. And I think if Manchester United are happy enough not to win the league, then they should stick with the manager that they have. He will help them achieve that goal.

I think Eric should leave, and alow our young stars to come back. Eric was a problem from the start. He said he wanted players who played under him at other leagues, that's is why he brought those players. That clearly indicates favoritism and that's a problem right there. We do not want that.
Sorry to shit in your breakfast, but Sancho is terrible, please show us his champions league stats this season 0 assists and 0 goals. In the league dortmund done terrible in the 19 games he played in the league he didn't look good in any game. Antony has better stats than him and that guy is a fidget spinner, if a manager winning 2 cups in his first two seasons at are club and doing it in a season with 64 injuries is not good enough then sorry to say you are one bad fan 😂😂. Ten hag is the best manager available for united so sacking him means another 20 years of rebuilding. Sancho is overrated always said it. Greenwood is a player that actually does something so he has use, Sancho doesn't he should stick to farmers league.
