Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is only the fourth manager in the Premier League era to win his first five games – and the second Italian after Carlo Ancelotti.
The Italian arrived after a lengthy legal battle with Napoli and when pre-season training had already begun, but is already proving why the Stamford Bridge hierarchy were so determined to sign him.
Sarri took to the Premier League like a duck to water, ensuring Chelsea have their best start to a Premier League season since 2010.
He also joined the record books as one of only four Coaches to win their opening five Premier League games.
Curiously, he is the second Italian after Ancelotti did the same at Chelsea on his way to the Double in 2009-10.
Pep Guardiola achieved it at Manchester City, while Craig Shakespeare made the ideal caretaker manager’s contribution to Leicester City in 2017.
