Maurizio Sarri has laid into his Chelsea side after their abject 2-0 defeat at Arsenal.
The Blues succumbed to goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Laurent Koscielny at The Emirates as the hosts enjoyed just their second victory in 14 meetings with their London rivals.
Sarri's side are now just three points clear of both Arsenal and Manchester United in fourht place, and the Italian let his players know their performance was well below the level he deems acceptable.
'I’m extremely angry, very angry indeed,' he said after full-time, speaking in Italian and using his interpreter to ensure his message got across.
'This defeat was due to our mentality. I can’t accept it. We had a similar issue against Tottenham in the league. It appears this group of players are extremely difficult to motivate.'
'From a technical point of view both teams were on the same sort of level, but they had a higher level of determination in both penalty areas, so tactics don’t come into it.
'I can’t possibly say I am not partly responsible for the defeat. We have to share it.
'This is not a team that is going to be well known for its battling qualities, but we need to become a team that is capable of adapting, possibly suffering for 10 or 15 minutes, and then playing our own football.
'Today we didn’t play our own football.'

William is also weak and tired meaning he should not been started, drop William on the bench and start Hudson odoi for the first time all premier league coaches have known your sarri pattern of play and is difficult to beat them remember this is second face of the league you have to do your possible best to be in fantastic four in other to continue champions league football. Sarri if you can learn from your mistakes drop jorginho and stop using kante wrongly else it will cost you losing your job to another man watch your back and see list of Chelsea legendary all aboki will soon be with his own kettles.

from my own point of view I don't see anything wrong with conte in fact he is one of the best coach Chelsea has ever had. He turned Moses into an utility player and brought a formation which other teams like Liverpool, Arsenal and the rest adopted so, why sack this kind of coach. I believe that what they should have done for conte is to allow him get the players he needed at that time and also give him time to deliver instead of going for a coach that will not get to the top 4 cos arsenal and man u are coming fast and if care is not taking am afraid something will happen. To cap it all I hate sarri"s style.

I will keep saying this Sarri is not a good coach He isn’t tactical he is the most predictable manager I know He isn’t convincing at all. All he did at Napoli was just a fluke he is not good enough to manage this team

Must we even play sari ball?? Cos I'm not understanding this sariball anymore. It's like this sariball is doing us more harm than good, we clamor for attacking football nd not possessing football bcos am beginning to see some difference in those two phrases.Believe me guys we can't continue playing like this cos if we do, we're going no where.Right now I don't even think only a striker is our problem, I think chelsea have much problems in the coach and his boring football tagged "sari ball" Which is making my beloved hazard and kante suffer in another man's land. This coach is too stubborn why is he still using jorghino? I really don't see anything special on that guy, Alonso and William is another problem the back wings are not really helping cus the right wing and the left wing is not effective, and again I don't understand the kind of football we are playing now is just too much of passing all through both on the 18box if only he can bring Kante back to his position and Hazard too back to his position too it will better for our football if not we can't make top4, am not really enjoying Chelsea football any more, all we play now is possession possession, is time for him to make a change on the players

From my point of view. I think the problem still lies with the coach. So far he is still using that Alonso, it will be difficulty for him to win a match. If you say because a player only knows how to play free kick you now use for every match, then there is a problem. How many free kicks did he play yesterday? He should learn to try other options, Emerson is a good player, he keeps him on the bench everyday. Alonso, for me is not good for EPL cos he is too slow ( the most sluggish player in the League). The pace in EPL is too much for him. Look at how many opportunities he saw in front of 18 yard, just because of his sluggish nature he lost all. Sari is to be blamed for using him consistently. This is my take

I think Sarri is part of the problem of the team. Jorghino can not defend, worse part is he does not have legs to run...That is even not the annoying part. Over 1000 passes not one assist for a goal. It means clearly Chelsea is not a creating team. David Luis attempts more long range passes than Jorghino. If Chelsea is even retain the 4th position Sarri needs to drop Jorghino reinstate Kante to his natural position....It but a better forward thinking all action deep lying midfielder for the REGISTA role Jorghino is too weak. His passes are just side ways and backward. I don't know what Sarri sees in him. He is not a fantastic player. I will pick the departed Cecs Fabregas over Jorghino any day any time.

Sarri must realize that his False Nine strategy is clearly not working. Its better to have a target man up and move Hazard on his natural position, most importantly its time to drop Willian and start Hudson Odoi also replace Marcos Alonso with Emerson. Another point to consider is moving Jorginho on the side of the pitch and play Kante in his defensive midfield position (in other words switch Kante and Jorginho's positions) . The longer time Sarri takes to realise these points the more Chelsea will suffer. BTW the way he criticized his own players, reminded me of Mourinho's second spell with Chelsea.

i have to say the bah mami nature of the Prem fanatics and coaches seem to be infectious, i thought Arsenal was bad, wow check out the oligarch blues heh heh 😂😂🤣🤣😁. by springtime and summer Sari ball will be flying and all forgotten, winter is tough psychologically and emotionally not to mention physically. on another day those goals don't go in and Arsenal is very much punished for their panic ball. just one of those days, but Chelsea does need to get some help up front to take the pressure off, not sure hightail ll Higuain is the answer

players looked jaded, lethargic and leggy Jorginho needs to rest or benched he was woeful v Arsenal Kante needs to.play the deep laying MF role he is the best in that role and looks out of place further forward Willian certainly looks tired Sarri needs to mix his tactics up all to easy for Arsenal yesterday and even Newcastle last week almost got something from the game odi needs to play Play with Hazard wide and bring the big Frenchman in as CF / need a target for crosses the team need to realise they are only 3 points ahead Man Utd have momentum / Arsenal the same Chelsea need to kick start from this set back by beating Spurs on Thursday
