According to Italian journalist Nicolò Schira, Viktor Gyökeres’ move to Arsenal has been agreed, with a total fee of €73.5 million.
Schira reports that the deal is done and confirmed: Gyökeres will transfer from Sporting CP to Arsenal for €73.5M (including add-ons), with a contract running until 2030. As previously reported exclusively, the Swedish striker has been Arsenal’s top priority for reinforcing their attack since last September, and Gyökeres only wanted to join the Gunners.
Arsenal are now arranging a medical for Gyökeres later this week.
