According to Italian journalist Nicolò Schira, Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson is no longer considered a key part of new head coach Enzo Maresca’s plans.
The 24-year-old Senegal international joined Chelsea from Villarreal in the summer of 2023 for €37 million. This past season, he made 36 appearances for the Blues, scoring 13 goals and providing 6 assists.
Schira reports that Jackson is no longer viewed as a core player in Maresca’s project, which could lead to his departure from Chelsea during the summer transfer window.
Jackson is currently valued at €50 million on Transfermarkt.

Maresca and the owners are the problem of Chelsea and not the players. Imagine Chelsea has over 50 players and they are still buying. They have young good players yet they are still buying young players which i think is the highest level of confusion. The owners lack sense and direction. If the right coach and the right owner who understand football come to chelsea, they will bring the best out of this talented young players and Chelsea of old will come back with fifhting spirit all seasons
