Senegal manager Aliou Cisse was taken to hospital following his side's win over Cameroon on Friday.
The Lions of Teranga continued their impressive defence of the Africa Cup of Nations with a 3-1 win that secured their place in the knockout phase.
However, Cisse suffered a health scare and was treated by medical staff for a 'benign infectious pathology' at a local hospital in Yamoussoukro where he stayed overnight.
The 47-year-old has since been released and returned to the side. A statement by the Senegalese federation said: 'The tests are reassuring and he is back with his group'.
'He's doing well,' Senegal team spokesperson Kara Thioune added.
Cisse has been the country's manager since 2015 and guided them to AFCON glory in the 2022 tournament.
Heh has also led the side in the last two World Cup finals, including last year's where they were knocked out by England in the last-16.
Ismaila Sarr, Habib Diallo and Sadio Mane were the goalscorers on Friday as Senegal swept aside Cameroon.
Cisse urged his players to 'stay focused', saying: 'I congratulate the players because they played a great match. They respected my instructions and all the advice that I gave them.
'There is the last match against Guinea in the round. We must remain focused. We have played two matches in the competition so far, and there are 5 remaining in order to reach the stated goal.'
Senegal side will take on Guinea in their final group match on Tuesday before the last-16.
