Ole Gunnar Solskjaer felt referee Jon Moss did not do enough to protect Manchester United winger Daniel James during their Premier League draw with Wolves.
"I don’t think it's a booking," Solskjaer told Sky Sports.
"For me, we never got a foul on the first one," Solskjaer said. "They got a counter-attack, he was fouled, and they got a chance from it almost.
"He's that quick and he gets kicked so many times that it's natural sometimes to protect himself. I haven't seen [the 'dive'] other than live. And, for me, how many fouls did he suffer today? How many times did they go through him?
"I have got absolutely no problem if he sometimes tries to avoid being kicked."

Daniel James has suffered more tackles than any other player this season. referees should be protecting players like him instead of brandishing yellow cards against them ..

if the boy is young to play epl, why then does ole insist on putting him in the pitch? this was game for matures not for babies like Daniel James. he could be a good winger but certain games are not for his age. otherwise Manchester United fans will continue grumbling 😂😂😂

Thks all.l james is fast but should cross when it is tight. Also he should shoot when he has the chance infront of goal. testing the goalkeeper gives him or others to make him nervous. He will get there.

mark clattenburg made a few remarks about this referee Mr Moss n Mr Atkinson n it was something I have seen for myself over the years they r both complacent n make some really poor decisions y aren't referees brought before a committee n their decisions reviewed n they get ban also similarly to incidents committed off the ball by players being review n then they get a few match ban ...referees should also be subjected because they make decisions at times which cuz d game to go into disrepute or sometimes finish prematurely!
