During a closed training session for their match against Mexico, the South Korean team encountered an unidentified drone attempting to spy on them.
The South Korean national football team was conducting a closed training session on the 17th in preparation for their match against Mexico, when an unidentified drone appeared over their base camp. The drone was launched by two unidentified men from a residential area surrounding the training ground, and its purpose was believed to be to spy on the training content.
On that day, the South Korean team was preparing for their second group A match against Mexico at the Chivas Verde Valle training base in Zapopan, near Guadalajara, Mexico, and conducted a closed training session lasting approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
However, an illegal drone appeared over the training ground during the warm-up phase at the beginning of the session. A South Korean team official stated that security personnel from the South Korean team at the scene spotted the drone. The Mexican military, responsible for the security of the South Korean team's base camp, then fired radio waves to jam the drone's signal, bringing it down.
To control the drone, the South Korean team, along with local police and military personnel, quickly rushed to the crash site, but the individuals who launched the drone had already escaped with it. It is reported that the video team inside the training ground filmed these individuals recovering the drone and fleeing.
FIFA security personnel stationed at the scene immediately lodged an investigation request with the Mexican police. The South Korean team has also reported the relevant situation to FIFA and requested assistance to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
Fortunately, the drone was discovered before the official tactical training began, and it is understood that the South Korean team did not suffer significant tactical leakage.
The South Korean team and the Mexican team, both of whom won their first-round matches, will face off in their second Group A encounter at 9:00 AM Beijing time (CEST) on the 19th at the Guadalajara Stadium in Mexico.

This is absolutely nonsense, why spying ur opponent with drone camera, (CO-HOST) Fifa should sanction Mexico for that. It happens in England, englsh championship playoff, Southampton fc, was penalize and disqualified, and they remained in the league nxt season.
