Sporting director Antero Henrique still at PSG thanks to Neymar

Antero Henrique, PSG's sporting director, could have left the club after the Champions League defeat by Manchester United. The board wanted to sack someone culpable for what happened and the Portuguese nearly paid the consequences.

His continuity at the club is down to Neymar, or rather, his transfer. Conversations between the club and the former Barca player were through Israeli agent Pini Zahavi. He is know for his ability to manage these type of situations - and he's a friend of Henrique.

Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and the personalities that run QSI decided to keep Henrique at the club, so as not to disturb their relations with Zahavi.

The player, paradoxically, is not especially loved by the board.
