On May 25th, Beijing time (CEST), Stuttgart officially announced that they had permanently signed Harrounus from Leicester City and inked a contract with him until 2028. According to previous reports by German Sky Sports journalist Plettenberg, the transfer fee was 15 million euros.

According to the contract, Harrounus's loan agreement has been converted into a permanent transfer, meaning he is now under a long-term contract with the club. In his debut season, he played 41 official matches for Stuttgart, contributing 9 goals and 7 assists.
Club sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth stated: "Harrounus performed exceptionally well in all matches for Stuttgart last season, and as a young player, he played a pivotal role in the Moroccan national team. He has already shown extraordinary football talent, and at the same time, we see even greater potential for development in him, so we firmly believe that his development is far from its limit."
