Atletico Madrid suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat at Sevilla on Sunday night, and Luis Suarez left a message for his teammates and fans after the game.
The loss comes as a gift for Real Madrid and Barcelona who are now hot on the heels of LaLiga Santander's leaders.
Suarez insisted that nothing would be gifted to them this season.
"There are no excuses, when you lose you have to always try to look to improve," Suarez wrote on social media.
"Nobody said it would be easy. To achieve success you always have to fight against everything and everyone because nobody gifts you anything.
"Let's keep working and looking forward. Always positive," the Uruguayan added.
