It has taken a while to happen, but Atletico Madrid finally look to be marching towards the LaLiga Santander title without showing any signs of cracking.
Diego Simeone's side fell behind on Sunday, but came roaring back to win 3-1, helped along their way by Luis Suarez, who scored the goal that put Los Colchoneros ahead.
The goal was his 12th of the season, drawing him level with Youssef En-Nesyri at the front of the Pichichi race.
Every goal the Uruguayan scores is a blow to Barcelona, all while the Catalans are left looking for a prolific No.9, and it's impossible to avoid drawing comparisons between Suarez and Martin Braithwaite.
The Suarez-Braithwaite comparison
Their numbers are very different this season, and not just for the goals they've scored. Suarez has 12 to his name, whereas Braithwaite has just two, and the Uruguayan needs just 92 minutes to score, compared to the Dane needing 428.
Suarez's 12 goals have come from his right foot (six), his left (four) and his head (two), and needs 1.5 shots before scoring. The ex-Leganes forward has only scored with his right foot and converts every 3.5 shots he takes.
Beyond the clear statistics, Suarez's presence causes panic in opposing defences, which is something that cannot be said for Braithwaite.

koeman didn't let Suarez leave because he was counting on Braithwaite, he let him leave Bartomeu told him to do so and because he thought the club will bring in a deferent striker not Braithwaite, right now Braithwaite is having more playing time because Barcelona don't have a prolific number 9.
