LaLiga president Javier Tebas has again questioned Manchester City after their European ban was overturned by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
Pep Guardiola has gone on record to defend his current club after they were cleared of breaching UEFA's Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules, directly answering Tebas' previous criticism of the decision.
In an interview with ESPN, Tebas spoke out against CAS, rather than give credit to City.
"Manchester City will be in the Champions League next season not because they've done things well, but because CAS have done things badly," Tebas said.
"In fact, CAS have sanctioned them with 10 million euros, which won't be for nothing.
"I've read in the press that it's because they didn't collaborate with UEFA.
"Why is that? Have City hidden documentation?
"I'd like to see the final resolution, if I may.
"We still haven't been able to read CAS's final resolution from the PSG case, from CAS, which was a long time ago.
"The day that I read it, I will tell Guardiola what I'm convinced about: Manchester City have done nothing well.
"CAS isn't up to standard to give resolutions in the football industry.
"City... we all know what they do! Everyone in football knows what they do.
"In fact, when they got the [original] punishment, no one in European professional football was surprised. The opposite.
"I wouldn't say it was celebrated, but some said that it's just as well that some justice was done with clubs owned by states.
"Then, on the contrary, there were protests from [Jurgen] Klopp, [Jose] Mourinho after CAS's resolution [was published].
"Everyone knows that they try to flout Financial Fair Play.
"CAS is dead.
"Their resolutions have been generating doubts for many years.
"There's no transparency and often you see the judges they've named and you already know what their resolution will be.
"Switzerland has a lot of prestige in arbitration and CAS is doing it a disservice."
Tebas went on to take more swipes at clubs like Manchester City and PSG on how they do their business.
"Now it seems that Manchester City are charity's little sister and that they haven't signed players - they are the club, alongside PSG, who have signed the most," Tebas continued.
"There isn't anyone else that has spent more on signings in the last five years.
"Neymar is no longer in Spain because he was brought to another state owned club in exchange for a barbaric amount of money.
"City sign players with oil, everyone knows that, everyone in football. For many years.
"For the good of the industry, when someone breaks the rules, the sector can go into a crisis."

City didn't cooperate with UEFA because they had already decided to sanction City before even investigating so it was clear UEFA had an agenda against City.

i m an excited LFC supporter and will always be until I quit football but all those crying and talking shit about mancity no being banned should get a life. especially Tebas, how does mancity in d EPL affect his life in la liga? it's just pure racism! recall Pep is in favour of those seeking an independent breakout nation from Spain....Chelsea wen to CAS and made their case, ban was reduced to a year from two years, no body died from mouth disease! why is it so wrong for mancity to get "justice" after making their case. with all d money they invested we at Liverpool did what we could do and time has proven that even a mustard seed can eventually become the biggest tree.... man city is NOT the reason any team is failing! in fact they are the reason! yeah! they play razor sharp football.... if that's not something exciting and worth appreciating rather than bickering den eat corona! klopp has been focusing on Mancity CAS issues and hate energy see where LFC is now, shambles. Mind ur business! YNWA!!!
