Cristiano Ronaldo's debut with Juventus in the Champions League did not last long, as the Portuguese was shown a straight red against Valencia, the result of a controversial altercation with Jeison Murillo.
The sending off was the 11th expulsion or his career, and his very first in the Champions League.
Ronaldo was sent off four times while with Manchester United, six times with Real Madrid and now once with Juventus.

The first was against Aston Villa
May 15, 2004, is the day when Ronaldo was expelled for the very first time.
It was the last game of the season in the Premier League and it was against Aston Villa.
The winger, then at Manchester United, saw his first yellow in the 38th minute for simulating a foul and the second in the 85th minute for shooting on goal after the referee had signalled for offside.
The Reds Devils won that match 2-0 and finished third in the table that season.
Two reds at Manchester City's stadium
Derbies are always high voltage matches with many altercations and Ronaldo, a player of character, was sent off twice against Manchester City during his time at Manchester United.

A brawl in a game against Portsmouth ended with the Portuguese in the dressing room in the 85th minute.
Ronaldo faced off with Richard Hughes and the argument provoked a brawl.
It was August 15, 2007, and the Premier League was only in its second week of the season.

He got himself sent off in a clash with Almeria
December 5, 2009, was the day Ronaldo received a double yellow at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in a match against Almeria, which Los Blancos won 4-2.
