The summer transfer window for 2026/27 season is already closed.
This has been a historic transfer window. We’ve witnessed several transfers worth over 100 million, as well as the back-and-forth drama surrounding players like Álvarez, Enzo and Camara throughout the entire window.
Additionally, the close of the transfer window doesn’t mean the transfer stories are all over. After the window closes, some news—primarily official announcements—may still be released with a delay.
For example, The Premier League has a grace period for the transfer window. On the night of the transfer deadline, if a club has reached an agreement on a deal before the window closes but does not have enough time to complete all the paperwork, it can submit a transfer form to request additional time. Once approved, the club is typically granted a two-hour grace period to finalize the registration documents. This means the deadline for completing the formalities can be extended to 1:00 a.m. local time the following day.
