Real Madrid's 2019/20 setup will speak more French than ever before as Ferland Mendy's arrival takes the total of francophone players to ten.
Eight speak it as their first language, including the two Belgians in Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois.
To that list you can add Luca Zidane, Raphael Varane, Karim Benzema and Theo Hernandez.
Off the pitch, there's Zinedine Zidane and his coaches David Bettoni and Hamidou Msaidie.
Zidane wants more arrivals and his interest in Paul Pogba is no secret. Additionally, Sadio Mane is another the club are linked with, while even Kylian Mbappe is an unlikely possibility.

I thought I was the only one noticing that... It will spell well for French football and help their national team considering their stars will have a level of coherence when playing... It helps Madrid as a club but taking it too far may damage the Spanish national team further because it will mean one of the hubs of their players has been taken over by another nation and they will have to pick players from a wider spectrum than they usually will... Their is a reason why one of the best Spanish teams of all time had a chunk of their players from just barca and Madrid as opposed to what we have now... They were used to playing together...
