The 'Messi Burger' is coming to Hard Rock Cafes worldwide in March

Hard Rock International have worked with Lionel Messi on a number of campaigns and now a 'Messi Burger' is coming to Hard Rock Cafes everywhere in March.

The burger has already been sold at the Hard Rock Cafe Miami and Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood in Florida since the start of the year and now it'll be rolled out elsewhere, hitting menus on March 1.

The exact price isn't known, but the burger was sold for 11.95 dollars during the trial period. It is made up of two beef patties and toppings including provolone cheese, sliced chorizo, caramelized red onion, lettuce, tomato and the famous Hard Rock smoky sauce.

"It is an honour to take our partnership with world-renowned soccer star Lionel Messi and the LIVE GREATNESS campaign to the next level with his very own take on Hard Rock Cafe's Legendary Steak Burger," Jon Lucas, COO of Hard Rock International, said of the collaboration.

"We are excited to launch the Messi Burger as a pilot program in Florida, right in Hard Rock's own backyard, as we prepare for the global launch in March."
