In 2008, one of the most emblematic associations in football history was born as Lionel Messi inherited the No.10 jersey at Barcelona from its predecessor Ronaldinho. Now, 13 years on, it belongs to a new owner: Barcelona's latest prodigy 18-year-old Ansu Fati.
As the youngster looks to impress in the iconic shirt this season, his father was found in the club's official store, purchasing eight of his son's shirts to take home to the family.
An emotional Bori Fati said that when he heard the news that his son would be wearing the No.10, he was ecstatic.
"I couldn't sleep", he said, speaking to Deportes Cuatro.
"I said to myself, as soon as the shop opens I've got to be there."
Bori then put on the jersey as emotions ran high.
