The list of top selling shirts in MLS 2025 features one huge surprise

Lionel Messi’s presence at Inter Miami continues to symbolise success for the Fort Lauderdale franchise. Since day one, the Argentine star has embraced his role as the main attraction both on and off the pitch in Major League Soccer.

On Wednesday, MLS released its list of the top 25 best-selling jerseys for the first half of the 2025 season—and, unsurprisingly, Lionel Messi tops the chart. Inter Miami has a strong presence on the list, with four players featured among the top sellers.

Messi and Luis Suárez lead the way, holding the top two spots in jersey sales. Joining them are Sergio Busquets and, somewhat unexpectedly, Benjamin Cremaschi, who rank 16th and 23rd, respectively.

Seattle Sounders is another club with a strong showing, with four players—Jordan Morris, Pedro de la Vega, Albert Rusnák, and Jesús Ferreira—also making the list.

Rounding out the top five best-selling jerseys are Miguel Almirón (Atlanta United), Hirving ‘Chucky’ Lozano (San Diego FC), and Darlington Nagbe (Columbus Crew), underscoring the wide appeal of star power across the league.
