There are a number of high profile players who spring to mind when you hear 'Argentinian striker.'
Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, Gonzalo Higuain, and Mauro Icardi are just a few of the modern examples, but none of them hold the title for the most prolific Argentinian striker in Europe so far this season.
Instead, that award goes to Nantes player Emiliano Sala, who has scored 10 goals this season, outscoring all of his fellow countrymen.
With 10 goals, he's a full three ahead of his closest Argentine rivals, Messi and Aguero, who both have seven goals. Icardi has six for Inter Milan, and Higuain has five for AC Milan.
The 28-year-old started his career at Bordeaux, and had reasonable success on loan to clubs Orleans, Niort, and Caen.
He moves to Nantes in 2015, and has since appeared in 112 games, scoring 40 goals so far. His tally of 10 goals to start the season is his most prolific period yet, and he scored a hat-trick in Nantes 4-0 win over Toulouse last month.
Despite outscoring some of the biggest names in football, Sala has still never been capped for his country. He'll be hoping he can prove himself and earn a spot in the squad.
Nantes are currently in 10th in Ligue 1, so Sala's goalscoring form hasn't quite been enough for them to rise the ranks.
He's only behind wonderkid Kylian Mbappe in the current scoring Ligue 1 ranks, who has 11 and recently rose to become the most valuable footballer in the world.

So he has a good start to the season..
I was watching his team just the other day were the won 5-0 and this bloke is nothing special, typical tap in striker that has a hot streak right now just like Piatek in Serie A.

Welp, yet another prolific player but Argentina has never had a talent or player problem, they have had an organization and coaching problem, cos its unthinkable that with Messi and all the other world class talents they have, not including the likes of Icardi and Dybala that get left out of the international squad, they have not won a major national trophy. Its ridiculous. Messi is about to retire with no major international trophy? If someone had told me this would happen 10 years ago, I would have never believed it. The Argentine FA and players have no one but themselves to blame. A golden generation is passing away with nothing to show.
You have to look at the team as a whole though. Look at Belgium now, or at Spain, Germany & France when they won world cup. They have basically world class players in every position. It's true Argentina have a golden generation of attackers, but definitely not in defence and midfield

So he¿s scored more goals in the first 11 games this season than the rest and has done that in the Farmers League? Whatever.

Isn't this article the equivalent of comparing Billy Sharp (leading English goalscorer in the championship) to Raheem Sterling (leading English goalscorer in the premiership)?

Depends on the quality of the opposition. I once scored a century at cricket, but that was on the beach with a girlfriend lobbing an acorn at me.
