The surprising price of Real Madrid vs Barca Super Cup final tickets in Saudi

A full house is expected for the 2025 Spanish Super Cup final, with Real Madrid fans set to outnumber their Barcelona counterparts in Jeddah.

While the first 2025 Spanish Super Cup semifinal in Saudi Arabia drew 39,000 spectators and the second nearly 47,000, the prospect of Real Madrid and Barcelona facing each other in El Clásico in the final changes everything.

Both the Spanish Soccer Federation (RFEF) and Saudi organizers expect the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium to be filled to capacity, or very close to it. Real Madrid fans will outnumber their Barcelona counterparts, but supporters of the Catalan giants will also be present in large numbers.

How much are tickets for the 2025 Spanish Super Cup final?

The final attendance is expected to be in the vicinity of 60,000, with hopes for a last-minute surge to sell out the venue. However, fans looking to attend will require deep pockets, with a minimum ticket price of $850.

There were, however, also much lower-priced tickets, which have unsurprisingly have sold out. Briefs which were available for just $50 have long gone, as have those priced at $70, $110, or $150. Only premium packages remain: the ‘silver’ package at $850 and the ‘gold’ package at $1,400. Everything else is gone, or nearly so.

Alternatively, fan clubs from Saudi Arabia could offer you the best deal. Blancos KSA, based in Jeddah, has 700 tickets provided by Real Madrid. “We are the only ones who still have some reasonably priced tickets, I believe. We hope to sell them all, but there are still some left,” said a representative. What is considered reasonable? $70.

Real Madrid vs Mallorca semifinal marred by fan incidents

The difference in fan bases won’t be as stark as in the semifinals, where unpleasant incidents (including reports of harassment and groping) occurred with local Real Madrid fans mocking Mallorca supporters who had traveled to Jeddah.

Not Vinicius, nor Mbappé...Saudi fans' favourite players

Barcelona has gained many fans in Saudi Arabia. “Because of Messi, but Iniesta is also very popular here,” explained one Saudi fan wearing a Barça jersey, without a name on the back, strolling through Al Balad, the historic part of Jeddah. This goes some way to explaining why Pedri is treated like a superstar in the Gulf nation. “He’s like a young Iniesta,” the fan smiled.

Interestingly, Real Madrid’s most admired star in the region is a similar style of player: Luka Modric. While there has been plenty of fanfare surrounding Vinicius, Kylian Mbappé and Lamine Yamal this week, midfield schemers Pedri and Modric appear to be the main fan favourites.

El Clásico fever hits Jeddah

On Sunday, local supporters will finally get the chance to see Modric in the flesh, with the Croat having now recovered from flu. “Finally! It really hurt us a lot that he wasn’t playing in the semifinal,” one Madrid follower rejoiced.

The majority of fans for both teams will be local, as both Real Madrid and Barcelona have stated that they haven’t received many ticket requests from outside the Arabian Peninsula. Nevertheless, the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium is close to being sold out. “We’ve been waiting a long time!” raved another fan. This will be the first Clásico in Jeddah and anticipation is at its peak.
