Thiago Alcantara supporting the fight against leukemia

Bayern’s midfield maestro reportedly took time from his own rehab to donate to a worthy cause.

Thiago Alcantara is a very giving player on the pitch. Off the field, Thiago is also looking to make a difference. Per a report by Bild, the Bayern Munich midfielder made a significant donation to help aid the fight against leukemia.

Thiago (27) spontaneously donated € 20,000 to the foundation “Aktion Knochenmarkspende Bayern” on Friday. A great gesture by the midfield genius who is helping to fight leukemia.

In a battle to return to the squad after suffering an ankle injury last month in Bayern’s DFB-Pokal win over Rodinghausen, Thiago will certainly be looking to expedite his return to the field.

Until he returns, however, we are left to look at highlights of the midfield maestro’s terrific skill. Below, the Bundesliga’s official Twitter account compiled some footage of the Spaniard’s “Top Five Skills.”

Hopefully Bayern fans will get a chance to see Thiago flash his talent soon as the squad will be looking to re-establish itself as a contender for the league crown.
