Morocco is planning to recruit Thiago Pitarch for its national team ahead of the 2030 World Cup, according to Marca.
Thiago Pitarch, 18, is making waves at Real Madrid with his play in midfield.
A Spanish youth international, he is eligible to play for the Atlas Lions because one of his grandparents was born in Morocco.
Following in the footsteps of Real Madrid star Brahim Diaz, Morocco hopes to convince Pitarch to leave La Roja.
“Morocco or Spain? I haven’t decided yet. Brahim Diaz talks to me a lot about Morocco, and he feels very comfortable with the national team,” Pitarch said.
