Thomas Partey has been named Ghana player of the year for the second successive time.
The Atletico Madrid midfielder won the award ahead of Felix Annan (second) and Mukarama Abdulai (third).
Partey also won the award for best player playing outside of Ghana.
He scored three goals and provided six assists in 42 games for Los Rojiblancos last season and is on holiday after the Africa Cup of Nations.
The player is due back in training on July 29.

Well deserved Partey. Not because you are any exceptional player but because you are in the midst of mediocres. Now Ghana cannot boast of any exceptional talent like the days of Appiah, Kuffour, Essien etc. Partey himself isn’t an absolute starter for Atletico. This is a clear signal that our football is sick and until our football budgets is channeled into grass root developments we will forever be in disappointments!
