Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has won the FIFA Best Men's Coach award for 2021 having guided the Blues to Champions League glory.
The 48-year-old beat Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola and Italy coach Roberto Mancini to the award despite losing the Premier League to Guardiola's City side.
The German has been hailed for how he has turned around Chelsea in such a short time, after arriving in January 2020, and he has continued that by reaching the 2022 Carabao Cup final.
"I am so impressed that it even makes me uncomfortable to have won the award. I have a very competitive team." Tuchel said during the Best FIFA Awards.
Tuchel succeeds compatriot Jurgen Klopp who won the 2020 award, while Chelsea women's coach Emma Hayes won the female award, making it a clean sweep of managerial success for the Blues.
