Three new clubs will participate in UCL for the first time in their history

Bodø Glimt - Norway

Bodø Glimt qualifies for the first time in its history to the Champions League after beating Sturm Graz. It has needed to play the preliminary phase for the fourth time to overcome it.

Last year, it reached the semifinals of the Europa League. This is a team that years ago was fighting relegation, but after a serious new project, it now dominates Norwegian soccer and competes in Europe. It's one of my favorite teams.

FC Kairat - Kazakhstan

The Kazakh side reach the League phase of the Champions League for the first time after 21-year-old Temirlan Anarbekov saved three penalties in a shootout win over the mighty Celtic.

To be mentioned, Kazakhstan's second city is so far east that it is 4,500km from Central Europe & even further east than China's western border.

There are only two teams from Kazakhstan have have ever qualified for the UEFA Champions League...

Pafos FC - Cyprus

Pafos secured the Champions League with INCREDIBLE GOAL scored in the 89th minute.

The latest stage of the rise of Pafos FC 🇨🇾, a provincial Cypriot club who have been bankrolled up to the top level of the domestic game, is soon to be complete.

They hadn’t played in Europe until last season, and now as reigning Cypriot champions, they’re on track to earn a hat-trick of Champions League Qualifying scalps and reach the elite of the League Phase.
