World Cup winner Luca Toni says Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic is destined to be the capocannoniere this season.
Toni is in regular contact with his fellow former Fiorentina striker.
Asked who will be top scorer in Serie A this season, Toni stated: "In my opinion, Vlahovic.
"I saw him fired up, I spoke to him on holiday this summer too, he's fired up and wants to rock and demonstrate that he's a centre forward for Juventus."
On new Italy coach Luciano Spalletti, Toni also told Sky Italia: "Spalletti has just started, luckily the victory against Ukraine came, we needed it.
"We need time for the journey, Spalletti did something exceptional with Napoli last year: we need a national team that will be a protagonist again, let's give them time with the hope that more and more champions will grow."
