TOTTENHAM supporters hailed Erling Haaland for virtually wrecking Arsenal's title dreams - as Son Heung-min refused to help out Mikel Arteta.

And Haaland's double - the first a tap-in from a cute Kevin De Bruyne pass - ensured it looks set to stay in its seemingly permanent residence at the Etihad rather than return to North London after 20 years away.

And it was ultimately buried for good when Son Heung-min wasted his glorious chance to equalise.
Clean through on goal, the South Korean found no way past sub goalkeeper Stefan Ortega on 85 minutes.
And when Jeremy Doku turned Pedro Porro inside the area, the referee pointed to the spot and Haaland made no mistake.
He smashed the ball into the top corner emphatically and the City celebrations said it all - they are on the brink of a fourth title in a row.
