Brennan Johnson scored in the sixth minute of stoppage time to rescue a 2-1 comeback win for Tottenham against Brighton.

Spoils looked set to be shared when Spurs midfielder Pape Sarr fired in an equaliser from close-range in the 61st minute.

Brighton initially took the lead during an impressive first half performance that saw Pascal Gross convert a 17th-minute penalty for the visitors at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Former Arsenal and Man United striker Danny Welbeck had been played into space in the box before being brought down by Spurs defender Micky van de Ven.
