Tottenham beat Leicester to move into Champions League spot

Son Heung-min led Tottenham Hotspur to a dominant 3-1 victory against Leicester City to move back into the Champions League places, with Arsenal playing later on Sunday.

The South Korean whipped in a corner which Harry Kane jumped to first to power in a header after 22 minutes.

Son doubled Tottenham's lead at the hour mark when great work from Dejan Kulusevski saw him break to the left to pick Son out, who fired the ball into the back of the net.

Twenty minutes later, Son made it 3-0 when he received the ball outside of the penalty box to sensationally curl the ball over Kasper Schmeichel and into the goal.

A consolation goal for Kelechi Iheanacho, who struck the ball into the near post after surging forward, gave the away fans something to cheer about, but it was Spurs that took a key win and pile the pressure onto Arsenal in the race for the final Champions League spot.

Tottenham are in fourth, five points behind Chelsea who were stunned by Everton and are a point ahead of Arsenal who play West Ham on Sunday evening.

Next for Spurs is a trip to Anfield next Saturday as they look to stop a quadruple-chasing Liverpool.
