Kane transfer fee
Harry Kane's time as a Tottenham Hotspur player is coming to an end. Graduating from the club's academy to become Spurs' all-time top goalscorer in the process, the striker has left fans with a number of moments that they will cherish forever.
Bayern Munich saw their fourth bid accepted on Friday but reports that Spurs would stand to make close to £100million including add-ons from the sale of Kane to the Bundesliga are not exactly accurate
Postecoglou on Kane replacement
Ange Postecoglou has explained the plan for Tottenham to replace Harry Kane after he agreed to sign for Bayern Munich.
"I don't think it works that way," the Tottenham boss said when asked if he had presented a list of possible replacements to chairman Daniel Levy. "It is not my wife handing me a shopping list to go and get milk and bread for the kids.
"Our whole strategy has been around the fact Harry wasn't going to be around more than likely so it is not like we've had a pow wow this morning and jeez what do we do. We knew it was coming and we've been working towards that. From my perspective we're preparing for Brentford and there won't be anyone incoming between now and Sunday so that's where my focus is."
Richarlison injury boost
Ange Postecoglou has been dealt a major boost ahead of Tottenham's clash with Brentford on the opening weekend of the new Premier League campaign. The Bees will welcome Spurs to the Gtech Community Stadium on Sunday afternoon, August 13, as either side looks to begin the season on the right foot.
football.london understands that Richarlison is fit and available for selection to face Thomas Frank's side. The 26-year-old has been nursing a knock recently; he missed the friendly against Shakhtar Donetsk on home turf before returning to the starting lineup against Barcelona in the Joan Gamper Trophy.
Richarlison struggled to impress against the Spanish giants, but Postecoglou jumped to the striker's defence after the game. The Tottenham boss said: "He’s had a bit of a knock and missed a few days training, but he works so hard for the team and he was a bit unlucky with a couple of his chances."
