Man City close to €80m Saul deal
Manchester City are closing in on a summer deal for Saul Niguez after moving ahead of Barcelona in the race to sign the Atletico Madrid midfielder, according to ESPN.
It is claimed that Pep Guardiola has identified the 24-year-old as a long-term successor to Fernandinho after losing out on Frenkie de Jong to Barcelona.
Barca had also been keeping tabs on Saul, but have allegedly pulled out of the race to sign him after hearing City had made firm steps to push through a deal.
'Keep Ole at the Wheel'
Paul Pogba has revealed that he wants Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to become Manchester United's permanent manager.
"Of course we want him to stay," Pogba said of Solskjaer. "The results have been great. I have a great relationship with him, he has a great relationship with the players.
"When a player is happy, he wants to keep being happy. Solskjaer deserves it. He knows the club, he knows everything about the club.
"He is a really happy coach that gave confidence back to the players.
"This gave us the freedom to play and enjoy football again because maybe we lost that with the results that we had before."
The Return of the Mou
Jose Mourinho says he wants to be back in club management by the summer as he has turned down 'three or four' offers already.
"What I have in mind is that I would like to be back in the summer, in June, for a new club, for a new pre-season," said Mourinho.
"I know exactly what I don't want - that's the reason I've had to say no already to three or four different offers.
"And I know what I want in terms of, not a specific club, but the nature of the job, the dimension of the job. I know what I want and I'm going to be waiting for that."
'New' club. Paris Saint-Germain?
De Ligt, you're next
Barcelona have made their move for another Ajax teenager Mattjijs de Ligt, according to Catalan outlet SPORT.
The La Liga leaders believe they can seal the signature within a month, having already signed De Ligt's teammate Frenkie de Jong earlier.
It is reported the De Ligt deal 'went cold' a few weeks ago, but following Ajax's advancement to the last 16 of the Champions League, it's thought that De Ligt has given his 'total disposition to sign.'
A five-year contract is waiting for the Dutch talent.
70% of earth covered by water, transfer rumours covered by Kante
So now, N'Golo Kante becomes Real Madrid and PSG's priority in the summer, reports Le10Sport.
Since Maurizio Sarri's appointment at Chelsea, Kante has seen his position moved forward and at times finds himself a little comfortable.
It is of course not his happiest season at the Blues, and Los Blancos and The Parisians want to capitalize on this opportunity to lure him.
Funnily enough, Kante has only ever played in Ligue 1 for one season in 2014/15, before moving to Leicester City and becoming a Premier League champion.
Plus... Paul's Real dream
And all of a sudden, Pogba has a childhood dream of playing for Real Madrid under Zinedine Zidane.
He is quoted as saying "Real Madrid is a dream for anyone as it's one of the biggest clubs in the world... There is also Zidane as a coach so it's a dream for anybody who likes football".
Wow. When Zizou is promised a reported €300m spending budget when he was re-appointed as Los Blancos boss, fans have had a wild dream in signing Pogba.
So for the man to speak highly of Real Madrid himself, we shall see much more actions afterwards.

Mourinho's decision to call off all the four offers was 99% good for he needed enough time to resume to his normal state.

Once upon a time Pogba's real dream was to play for Barcelona. As a player you need to have about 5 dreams to play for a big club😂

City are close to sign Saul After they missed out on De Jong ......wow !!!.... And on the other hand Klopp says he doesn't require any new signings This window I hope he won't be minding What is he saying cause we desperately need good playmakers or it won't help us ......... Sign a decent striker,A creative Midfielder, A CB and a potential backup of Robertson it would help us a lot cause I might say our bench strength also require some good depth we r having depth but not enough hope Klopp signs decent players this transfer Window . .....
