Arteta is falling in the same trap of getting old and tired legs almost for nothing to build his defence. Boateng is understandably a tried and tested defender at international level with Bayern and German unfortunately his stock has diminished recently because of age and injuries. He does not command a starting place at Bayern and the national team has indirectly retired him, the EPL is physical and having 3 defenders above the age 30 is a huge joke. Arsenal will shoot themselves in the foot if they went along and bought him.
