Transfer Talks: Madrid's €500m for Mbappe, Hazard & Pogba; De Ligt = Todibo + $?

'Operation Mbappe'… and €220m for Hazard, Pogba & Mane

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has guaranteed Zinedine Zidane a minimum of €500m to splash out in the summer, according to France Football.

Their number one target is Kylian Mbappe as Real Madrid are preparing a €280m bid to sign the wonderkid.

Meanwhile, Zidane will use the rest of the €500m to sign at least one of Eden Hazard, Paul Pogba and Sadio Mane.

De Ligt = Todibo + Money? He may give the answer next week!

According to Sport, Barca have decided to offer De Ligt in exchange - on a temporary basis - in the form of Todibo, who is of interest to Ajax.

Barcelona believe Todibo's progress could be increased by playing at a club as big as Ajax. Ajax know all about the Frenchman and would welcome his inclusion in any deal. It's possible that the loan could extend beyond a single season if it reduced the cost of de Ligt's transfer.

Ultimately the decision will belong to De Ligt. Much like with his teammate de Jong, it'll be a choice of choosing the most money or joining a winning project. The player's admiration for cis no secret and being able to continue his development alongside his best friend, de Jong, is another factor in favour of a Camp Nou switch. However, the last word will come from the 19-year-old.

“Regarding my future, I’ll talk about it next week, even if I haven’t made a decision yet.” De Ligt said after Netherlands’ 3-2 defeat to Germany in Euro 2020 qualifying on Sunday.

Juve & Madrid go head to head in pursuit of Pogba

According to AS, Paul Pogba has decided that he wants to leave Manchester United this summer. His agent Mino Raiola is already working to find the French midfielder a new club.

Paul Pogba's recent nod to Real Madrid ("Real Madrid's a dream for anyone and Zidane's there") was a calculated move to suggest he is open to a move to the Spanish capital.

If Real Madrid, with the recently-returned Zidane, is Pogba's first option in Spain, in Italy, Juventus would be only too happy to take him back if he decides to leave United. Diario AS understands that Juve's board are already totting up the numbers to find a way of financing the operation.

Juve would prove fierce competition for Madrid in the race to get the 26-year-old because the club has a close relationship with Mino Raiola - quite the opposite to Florentino's affinity, or lack of, with the agent.

Blues' Kante refuses to be Los Blancos

Real Madrid are reportedly looking at N'Golo Kante, but the Chelsea midfielder is focused only on performing at Stamford Bridge.

“I am at Chelsea and I still have aims here,” Kante told RTL. “What is said elsewhere is not important.”

He added of a potential conversation with Zidane: “That is not important. I am at Chelsea and I am focused on that.”

The west Londoners are about to be stung with a two-window transfer ban, with it being claimed that no sales will be sanctioned by the Blues until they are back in a position to be able to bolster their ranks.

Sancho? NOT FOR SALE!

Dortmund continue to shrug off speculation linking Jadon Sancho with Manchester United, with the Bundesliga giants considering the rumours to be irrelevant.

Zorc, the club’s sporting director, has told BILD of the transfer talk: “I don’t know anything about that and it has no relevance.”

They are not about to relax their stance, with Sancho considered to be a key part of their future plans.

Zorc told Sport Bild recently when quizzed on whether a sale could be sanctioned in upcoming windows: “I'm far from putting a price tag on Jadon, but I will say that, even for the biggest club in the world, his transfer would be difficult right now.

“Jadon will play at Dortmund next season and we are definitely planning with him.”
