PSG boss Thomas Tuchel hailed the power of Anfield as he reflected on his side's 3-2 loss at Liverpool on Tuesday night.
Roberto Firmino struck in stoppage time to give the Reds a deserved victory in Champions League Group C, after PSG had fought back from 2-0 down.
For Tuchel, this was not the first time he had suffered a dramatic defeat at Liverpool's famous Merseyside home.
In 2016 he brought his Borussia Dortmund side here in a Europa League quarter-final second leg and watched on as Liverpool scored three times in the final 24 minutes to turn a 4-2 aggregate deficit into a 5-4 victory.
'This is Anfield... this is what they do,' was Tuchel's blunt assessment of Tuesday night's defeat.
'There wasn't much space for Neymar. What Liverpool do very well is to close the space down in that No 10 area so our plan was to use the space down the wings and get our full backs pushing on.
'We tried to play well. It's not time for tactical analysis, it's time to credit the mental strength we showed on the ball tonight.
'If you play at Anfield, for me it's not a tactical game. It's to play with confidence, to trust the players.
'We expect a lot from our front three, and today was tough for them. We have to improve all over the field.
'For me, we need to improve our intensity in games like this. There's time to improve.'
Liverpool are unbeaten at Anfield in Europe under Jurgen Klopp. Their last home defeat in continental competition came at the hands of Real Madrid under the management of Brendan Rodgers in 2014.

Maybe for Tuchel, this job probably feels like a downgrade from his Dortmund job, as Dortmund in 2016 felt like a more wholesome unit and thus more formidable for us. At PSG, he had to constantly put up with Neymar's ego. At this rate, Mbappe might be infected by such egotism as well.

What was his plan today? He has nothing to regret. Didn't come to defend. Didn't set-up for counter attack. Counted on Salah giving them the ball? On the ref disallowing a goal for a foul he possibly could have never seen? At least 3yrs ago BVB played, attacked and defended their hearts out. But today? Was that supposed to be a bus? An F1? What was his plan, exactly? That will win games vs Amiens, Montpellier or Dijon - but he cannot win the CL playing like that.
